Sky World is moving to Santa Maria. The hosts will be David Ochs and Deborah Tobolah. I first met Deborah when we worked together on the Arts Council's poetry committee. No one have I more appreciation and admiration for than this incredibly talented and creative woman. Her poetry is incisive and provoking. Sky World will occur on October 28 at Coffee Diem at 7pm. Here is how to find it. Pretend you are a reporter covering the Michael Jackson trial and you want a good cup of coffee. Leave the court house and look for a charming old house that would be the last place to suspect would harbor a good coffee shop. Bingo!

Deborah is the inextinguishable candle in the arts and education effort at California Men's Colony. She is producing another of the incredible plays built and run by her inmate students. Watch for news on this.

Deborah is the poet of the month for Poet's Corner which appears last Thursday of the month in New Times.

David Ochs is well known locally and afar for his good humor and ribald satire.

We welcome these outstanding poetry hosts.
