Lovers of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!!

 

Mozarts great and glorious Requiem will be performed on Saturday night, May the 21st at 8pm in Harmon Hall of the San Luis Obispo Performing Arts Center. Thomas Davies, conductor of the Mozart Festival Chorus will lead the Cuesta Master Chorale, Cal Poly PolyPhonics, and members of the Cuesta Master Chorale Orchestra in this most dearly loved of the great composers works. Soloist include tenor, Jonathan Mack, a frequent performer in past Mozart Festivals, as well as Tihana Herceg and Roberto Perlas Gomez (Pacific Repertory Opera) and Katherine Arthur (Cal Poly).

Also on the evenings program is a performance of Igor Stravinskys joyous tale, Les Noces (The Wedding). Jill Anderson will join our soloists, along with pianists Terry Spiller, Susan Azaret Davies, Patrick Christians, and Paul Woodring in this wild ride scored for 4 pianos, percussion, and chorus.
