STRING THEORY

It takes a taut string to make music.

String Theory

We are all of us multidimensional
Just like string

String can be pretty to look at
delighting the eye
with curves and intersection
dividing space into looping crescents

But it takes taut string to make music
       to delight the ear
        to vibrate the air
Dividing time into swooping rhythms

String:
Pretty to look at
Delightful to hear
You can have an eyeful
or an earful
of string

We’re all pretty to look at
    defining our space
    here we are
    all we were
    all we will be
A delight for the eye
With all our curves and intersections

We’re all something to hear
    when we’re pulled up tight
    doing our vibration
    stringing words in air or on paper
    slinging paint on canvas or walls
    pounding nails or growing a garden
All doing, all a rhythm, all a vibration

We can see who we are
We can hear who we are
Standing
Moving
Looking - sometimes with the ears
Hearing - sometimes with the eyes

That’s my string theory

When development comes in at noon, research has already been at work a half day. Thats good! If it were the other way around, things would not be fully extended, function wise and would easily break, would not last long, but would keep garbage men in business. That's why it is called R&D and not D&R. Want some "R"??
