Introduction to the Ray Clark Dickson Web Site

Ray Clark Dickson is one of my favorite poets. You see the breadth of a poet in the body of his work. Ray is fat. By that I mean that Ray is prodigious. Ray writes several poems a day and at eighty five he seems to be picking up speed.

I have put this page together for Ray because he is too busy writing to do it himself. That is only partially meant to be funny. The real truth is I, myself, do not want him to stop writing to do stuff like this. I gladly take this role of amanuensis and take pleasure in presenting Ray Clark Dickson to you.

Some things about the web site. The top menu bar links take you to various categories of bio, photos, quotes, references,etc. The bottom menu bar items each take you to a Ray Clark Dickson poem. These poems will be changing from time to time. I have started off by presenting to you only poems from the past year and, selfishly, poems that I particularly like while trying simultaneously to present various kinds of Ray poems, running the gamut from narratives to short Piet Hein type gruks or revelations.

The site is admittedly at this writing inchoate but moving toward a degree of completion. If it looks like something is missing, I am probably working at it.
